DBIA’s Educator Workshop is going to look a little different this year.

DBIA is committed to preparing the next generation of our industry to become Design-Build Done Right® professionals. As the fastest growing and most popular project delivery process in the nation, it’s vital that America’s college graduates are armed with the skills needed to be successful members of design-build teams. DBIA’s Educator Workshop program not only teaches university faculty the key elements and principles of design-build but also how to incorporate design-build best practices into dynamic and innovate curriculums.

In 2019, the DBIA Educator Workshop program has expanded to provide even more design-build content for our educators. The new two-step training combines the best of DBIA’s educational coursework with Certification Workshops plus a 1-day targeted Educator Workshop to be held before the annual Design-Build Conference & Expo in November.

In this format, workshop attendees will:

• choose a three-day Certification Workshop on a date and location that fits their schedule
• attend an Educators-Only workshop on November 5, 2019, before the Design-Build Conference & Expo in Las Vegas
• Apply for an Educator Workshop Scholarship to help cover costs

Design-build is the way of the future for students who dream of a career in the A/E/C industry and we’re excited to help teach the teachers through DBIA’s Educator Workshop program.
