Theodore Wunderlich, CCM, DBIA
Ted is a Project Construction Manager in CDM Smith’s Industrial Unit. Based in Northeast Ohio, he has 10 years of experience supporting successful design-build projects for various industrial sectors, including rubber, power generation, metals manufacturing, chemicals, wastewater and food and beverage.
Robert Rizzieri, MS, F.ASCE, PE, PMP, CCM, DBIA
Bob has years of successfully leading Mega Federal projects and programs. Currently, Bob is Principle of Rizzieri Consulting LLC and provides advisory services for Federal, State Agencies, Contractors and Architect/Engineering Firms for Mega Programs & Projects and Design-Build. This comes after he retired as the Deputy Chief Engineering & Construction Division for HQ USACE. He shared responsibility with the HQ’s Chief of E&C for planning, programming, formulated policy and execution of USACE’s worldwide E&C missions. He was one of USACE’s first leaders in design-build projects/contracts, and his insights contributed to the foundation of USACE’s D-B policies.
Bethany Shain, PE, Assoc. DBIA
Bethany Shain has over 15 years of experience in the field of civil engineering focused on Water Resources, working for AECOM for the past 9 years. Ms. Shain has a variety of areas of expertise including engineering project management, construction administration for various projects, site development, green infrastructure design, MS4 program development, and green infrastructure manual development. She has been trained in stormwater and TMDL’s through EPA Region 4, erosion and sediment control courses for both state and local agencies, pipeline assessment certification, AutoCAD civil 3D, ArcView, Infoworks CS, and project management. She is currently a registered Professional Engineer in the state of Kentucky.
John Matuska, PE, DBIA
John is currently a Principal with Ruby and Associates Structural Engineers in Metro Detroit, a constructability-focused firm dedicated to serving the construction industry, having celebrated his 26th year with the firm in 2019. Since joining Ruby’s team in 1993, John has served as leader of Ruby’s Building Design Service Sector and has managed many of the firm’s most challenging and complex projects for manufacturing, healthcare, commercial and industrial clients. John is a licensed Professional Engineer in 19 states and is a member of the Michigan Society of Professional Engineers (MSPE).
Celeste Manolas, DBIA
Celeste Manolas is a design professional with over 25 years of experience managing public/non-profit projects. Her career spans project management positions with the MAAS Companies at College of the Desert, the County of Santa Barbara, San Diego State University, UC Santa Barbara, UC Santa Cruz, the University of Miami, and Federal GSA. Notable projects include the Central Campus Quad Renovation at the College of the Desert, the County of Santa Barbara Northern Branch Jail and the County Emergency Operations Center among many other projects.
Frank Ulisse, PE, PMP, DBIA
Mr. Ulisse is a Senior Associate Vice President with The LiRo Group in New York City. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in 11 states and a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and DBIA Designated Design-Build Professional. With more than 30 years of experience, he has served as an executive for multi-discipline projects. His areas of technical expertise include medium and low voltage power distribution. His experience includes commercial, industrial, utility, and civil infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience as a program manager for large multi-disciplined design-build projects and international projects.
