Challenge Design-Build Project Delivery Addressed

A number of owner-requested changes – one involving the design, permitting, demolition and reinstallation of 20,000 square feet of ceiling – required that the design-build team work quickly and efficiently and in constant communication with the owner.

Summary

The Riata Vista Corporate Campus was a highly complex and challenging project that was brought to conclusion through the expertise and professionalism of the Cadence McShane Construction/Studio8 Architects design-build team. Through a distinct level of competence, the team guided the four-year project from initial planning to final completion of the campus in Austin, Texas. The multi-phase, LEED-Gold assignment is situated on a 38-acre site and includes six four-story office buildings totaling nearly one million square feet, a café and conference center, a central utility plant and three multi-story parking decks totaling more than 1.6 million square feet.
